{"id":59,"date":"2018-03-03T21:03:16","date_gmt":"2018-03-03T21:03:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/192.168.250.157\/?p=59"},"modified":"2025-01-12T17:59:34","modified_gmt":"2025-01-12T17:59:34","slug":"new-cooker-and-hood-in-and-working","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hayl.es\/index.php\/2018\/03\/03\/new-cooker-and-hood-in-and-working\/","title":{"rendered":"New cooker and hood in and working"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hayl.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_0654-e1528754244336-348x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-99\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We had been looking to get a new cooker and hood for a while.&nbsp; The old cooker was here when we moved in and ran off of bottled gas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The oven on the old one was a disaster with no discerable difference in heat no matter where we turned the dial and with long warm up times, some interesting meals were produced as a result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The replacement we wanted was electric, had two ovens and five induction zones.&nbsp; All that power meant that a new cooker circuit had to be run, which involved digging a trench around the house and burying an armoured electric cable.&nbsp; This slowed it down significantly, but eventually I ran out of excuses, dug the trench and ran the cable.&nbsp; Mark and his guys from J.M.
